Q: Can I choose the delivery date?

Yes. You can choose a delivery date at up to 3 months in advance, and we will do our best to deliver your gift by your preferred date.

Q: What are your Standard Delivery Times?

Standard delivery service will be from Monday to Fridays between 9am and 6pm. Fresh food will not be delivered on Monday unless the delivery is local to our warehouse (within 4 miles). Please allow an extra day or so if your delivery is to Scottish Highlands and Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, and all UK Islands.

Q: Can I collect the gift from you myself?

Gifts can be collected from our warehouse. Please ring 0151 486 2055 to make arrangements.

Q: What happens if the recipient is not home?

All deliveries require a signature so where possible please choose an address where there will be someone to sign for the parcel. If the recipient is not home then the courier will leave a card to say where the gift can be collected from. This may be either a neighbour’s house, or nearest post office branch/depot. Any parcel not collected within 28 days will be automatically returned to Hamper House Ltd and £6.99 will be charged for re-delivery.

Q: Do you deliver outside the UK?

Yes. Gifts which do not contain fresh items such as fruit, cheese or salmon, can be delivered to most European destinations.

Q: Do you deliver on weekends?

We are unable to deliver on a weekend or a Bank Holiday. Any orders placed on a Friday will be processed on the following Monday.

Saturday delivery can be arranged on orders placed before 12 noon GMT on the Friday at an additional charge of £15. This service is for UK mainland only.

Q: Is there anywhere you can’t deliver?

We are currently not offering deliveries to the Channel Islands, PO Box addresses or BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses.

Q: What about Christmas deliveries?

Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee delivery dates for gifts sent during the month of December due to the high volume of parcels being sent –although we will do our best!

Q: Can I send gifts to multiple addresses?

Q: What about fresh foods in delivery?

Any orders containing fresh foods are dispatched for 24 hour delivery. We ask that you ensure that someone will be available to receive the goods. The perishable food should then be taken out of the hamper and refrigerated immediately.

Q: What about deliveries to The Scottish Highlands and Islands of Scotland?

There is an additional charge for delivery to these locations which will be specified when you checkout. Please allow an extra day or two for the gift to be delivered.

Q: What about deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly?

There is an additional charge for delivery to these locations which will be specified when you checkout. Please allow an extra day or two for the gift to be delivered.

Your Order

Q: What if all items are not in stock?

We do our best to ensure we are fully stocked with all items displayed in the hampers. However if we are out of stock on any item(s) we will replace with an equally or more expensive priced alternative.

Q: Why do you need a telephone number from me?

If the courier company experience any problems at the time of delivery (e.g. difficulties finding an address, access problems to flats, locked gates etc) then he will use this number to contact you.

Q: Can I cancel an order?

Orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours before they are dispatched. Any orders cancelled after this time may incur a cancellation charge if the items have already been packed or dispatched.

Q: Do I pay VAT?

No. We are currently not VAT registered so do not have to charge this additional fee like our larger competitors!
